The Drop
Harry Bosch has been given a few more years on the job when two cases land at once: a cold case DNA match that points to someone who would have been a child at the time of the killing, and a fatal fall from a Hollywood hotel by the son of councilman Irvin Irving. Bosch is ordered to take the second, whatever the politics.
