Unrivaled, the next Shane and Ilya book, moves to 2027
Rachel Reid’s Unrivaled, the third book about Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, has moved from September 2026 to June 2027.
Readers waiting for more of Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov will have to wait a little longer. Unrivaled, the seventh Game Changers book and the third devoted to the hockey rivals, was first due on 29 September 2026. In February 2026 the release moved to June 2027.
Rachel Reid explained that the worsening symptoms of Parkinson’s disease were one reason for the delay, and readers have responded with warmth and patience.
The series’ profile has never been higher. Heated Rivalry, the television series adapted from the second book by Jacob Tierney, began on Crave in Canada and became an international hit. It also weaves in the story of the first book, Game Changer. A second season is not expected until 2027.
If you are new to the series, start with Game Changer or go straight to Heated Rivalry, then read The Long Game before Unrivaled arrives.
