Crowns of Nyaxia continues with The Lion and the Deathless Dark

Carissa Broadbent’s Crowns of Nyaxia, set in the vampire kingdoms of the exiled goddess of death, reached its fifth book in 2026 with The Lion and the Deathless Dark.

The first book of the Bloodborn duet follows Kyrene, a bounty hunter bound by a pact with the vampire Septimus, who sets out to kill the gods themselves. It follows the Shadowborn duet, which ended with The Fallen and the Kiss of Dusk in August 2025.

A sixth Crowns of Nyaxia book has been announced for 2027. New readers should start with The Serpent and the Wings of Night.
