What if Jack Reacher met Harry Bosch?
Two hard men, one city. Both are veterans with an unbending sense of justice and little patience for politics or rank. Each would recognise the other within minutes.

The story
- How they might meet
- Reacher passes through Los Angeles on the trail of an old army friend, and the body he finds in the hills lands on Bosch’s desk.
- Why they would work
- Both are veterans with an unbending sense of justice and little patience for politics or rank. Each would recognise the other within minutes.
- What each brings
- Bosch knows the system and how to make it work. Reacher knows how to get answers outside it, and how to finish a fight.
- Where they would clash
- Bosch works inside the law, however reluctantly; Reacher answers to nobody. Bosch would spend half the case trying to keep Reacher out of handcuffs, and the other half wondering whether he should put them on him himself.
