Alan Ritchson’s Jack Reacher has had a busy 2026. The fourth season of Prime Video’s Reacher, based on Lee Child’s thirteenth novel, Gone Tomorrow, premiered on 12 August 2026 and ran until 16 September.

Gone Tomorrow begins with a tense encounter on a New York subway train, one of the most celebrated openings in the series, and it moves Reacher from the small towns of earlier seasons into the city.

Frances Neagley, Reacher’s former sergeant from his military police days, now has her own series. Maria Sten returns in the role in Neagley, which was set to premiere on 16 September 2026. Neagley first appears in the books in Without Fail and plays a major part in Bad Luck and Trouble, the novel behind Reacher’s second season.

Prime Video renewed Reacher for a fifth season in May 2026. It will adapt Make Me, the twentieth novel, in which Reacher steps off a train in a town called Mother’s Rest and finds that something there is very wrong.

New to the books? Killing Floor, the first novel, is also the source of season one, and the books can largely be read in any order.
